Stomach and gut in balance
Of every system in the body, digestion is the most sensitive to change. Different feed, a move, a busy spell, the switch from stable to pasture: the gut flora notices within days. Settling back into balance takes weeks.
Stomach or gut?
What you see with the stomach looks different from what you see with the gut. With the stomach you often see less appetite, picky eating, sensitivity in the flank and restlessness just before or after feeding. Gastro-M targets the stomach lining.
With the gut it is about what comes out: loose, variable or very dry droppings, a distended belly, cramping. Gastrol supports the gut flora; Gastrok supports natural gut movement when everything slows down.
Change one thing at a time
Never make two changes at once. New feed, a new supplement and a different routine in the same week makes it impossible to see what your animal is responding to.
Phase a feed change over seven to ten days. Only start with herbs once the feed is stable.
