Which formula suits your dog?
Choose by what you see, not by breed or age. Below you will find the formulas by topic: from movement and joints to stomach and gut, airways, skin and coat, and calm. Each product page tells you which signs a formula suits and which formulas it combines with.
Torn between two formulas? The herb finder asks four short questions and gives advice for your dog. You can also call or email us.
How to give herbs to your dog
Dogs smell everything. Mix the granules into wet food rather than dry kibble: the powder sticks better and does not end up at the bottom of the bowl.
If your dog turns its nose up, wrap the herbs in a piece of meat, liver pâté or wet food. A spoonful of apple sauce works for many dogs too, the sweet smell masks the taste of the herbs.
Split the daily dose over two moments, for example breakfast and dinner.
What to expect
Herbs work with the body, and that takes time. Allow two to four weeks before you see a difference, depending on how long it has been going on and how your dog is doing.
Many formulas are not suitable for pregnant bitches; the product page and label say so. If your dog is already on other products, or suddenly takes a turn for the worse, have it seen by a professional first. Our herbs are complementary feed: they can support, never replace.

Yes. Our formulas are not tied to one species; the difference is in the dose. For a dog of 2 to 45 kilos, give one spoon twice daily for the first ten days and half a spoon twice daily from day 11.
The dosing applies to dogs from 2 to 45 kilos. With a small or sensitive dog, start lower and build up gently to the full dose. If in doubt, we are happy to help.
Yes, all our formulas can be combined. We do recommend giving no more than three formulas at the same time. Each product page shows which formulas a product goes best with.
Mix them into wet food, or wrap them in a piece of meat, liver pâté or a spoonful of apple sauce. Still no luck? Ask for samples before you order a full bag.

What are Chinese herbs?
Not a single herb for a single thing, but a formula in which herbs reinforce and temper one another. This is how the Chinese herbal tradition works.

Staying supple as they age
The first sign is rarely lameness. It’s the dog that no longer jumps onto the sofa, or the cat that struggles to get up.
