Herbs for cats
A cat is not a small dog. Cats are fussy eaters, show little when something is wrong and need a much smaller dose. Here you will find our pure Chinese herbal formulas for cats, with the dose for a cat of 3.5 to 10 kilos.

Which formula suits your cat?
Cats are masters at hiding discomfort. So watch for small changes: less grooming, a dull coat, drinking or peeing differently, or a cat that withdraws more often.
Choose the formula by what you see. Below you will find the formulas by topic, and each product page tells you which signs a formula suits. If in doubt, try the herb finder or get in touch.
How to give herbs to your cat
Cats notice a new smell in their bowl straight away. Mix the herbs into a small amount of wet food and give that first, before the rest of the meal.
If it does not work in one go, split the dose over a few small portions. You can also start with a smaller amount and build up over a few days, so your cat gets used to the taste.
What to expect
Allow two to four weeks before you see a difference, depending on how long it has been going on and how your cat is doing.
Many formulas are not suitable for pregnant cats; the product page and label say so. If your cat is already on other products, or suddenly takes a turn for the worse, have it seen by a professional first. Our herbs are complementary feed: they can support, never replace.

Yes. The herbs in our formulas are not tied to one species; the difference is in the dose. A cat of 3.5 to 10 kilos gets half a spoon twice daily for the first ten days and a quarter spoon twice daily from day 11.
One measuring spoon is about two grams, so a quarter is about half a gram: a small, level scoop. It does not need to be exact to the milligram. What matters more is keeping it roughly the same every day.
Mix the herbs into a small amount of wet food and give that before the rest of the meal, or split the dose over a few small portions. You can also ask for samples first to see whether your cat likes them.
Because a cat needs so little, a bag lasts a long time. At the dose above, 60 grams lasts about 50 days and 120 grams about 110 days.

Herbs for cats, sheep and goats
A cat is not a small dog and a goat is not a sheep. They eat differently, digest differently, and show very little when something is wrong.

What are Chinese herbs?
Not a single herb for a single thing, but a formula in which herbs reinforce and temper one another. This is how the Chinese herbal tradition works.
